Philodendron Gloriosum Variegated
Philodendron Gloriosum Variegated pairs the iconic velvety foliage of Gloriosum with unpredictable splashes, marbling, and sectors of variegation. Its large, heart-shaped leaves feature prominent pale veining against a rich green velvet background, with variegated areas adding another layer of contrast.
Unlike climbing Philodendrons, Gloriosum is a terrestrial crawler. It grows horizontally along the surface of the substrate, producing progressively larger foliage when given room to travel. A long or rectangular planter is an excellent choice as the plant begins to mature.

Simple Care
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Water when the upper portion of the substrate begins to dry
Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity
Soil: Loose, airy aroid mix with excellent drainage
Temperature: Keep warm and protected from cold drafts
Fertilizer: Feed regularly at a diluted strength during active growth
Care Tip: Don’t bury the crawling stem. Position the rhizome along the surface of the substrate with the roots directed into the mix. Giving the plant horizontal space to crawl helps prevent stem rot and allows it to continue producing larger, more impressive leaves.
