My Growing Journey
Wanderleaf grew out of my own growing journey. Not because I had everything figured out, but because I didn’t. I learned plants the same way a lot of people do — by trial and error, by paying attention, and by slowly realizing that growth doesn’t happen on a schedule.
I grow plants intentionally and I take my time. I watch how new leaves emerge, how they harden off, and how plants respond to light, water, and care. I don’t rush growth and I don’t chase shortcuts. I pay attention, adjust when something isn’t working, and let plants tell me what they need.
Over time, that approach turned into a collection of over 300 plants and growing. I’m not an expert with all the answers, but I know a thing or two because I’ve grown a thing or two. Wanderleaf exists to share that lived experience honestly — the wins, the learning curves, and the plants that taught me patience along the way.
Here, you’ll find plant care practices, corm propagation, and the tools and supplies I actually use in my own setups. I also offer corms and select plants when available. Every plant is grown, handled, and packed with care, because they’re living things, not just items in a cart.
While Wanderleaf reflects my hands-on growing and care, it wouldn’t exist without my husband, Robby. His support, encouragement, and willingness to jump in wherever needed are a huge part of this journey. He works behind the scenes as my sounding board, buyer, and seller, and has fully immersed himself in what we’re building together. This may be my growing process, but it’s something we’ve built side by side.
Wanderleaf is about growing intentionally, learning through experience, and giving yourself permission to grow alongside your plants. I’m really glad you’re here.
